Arrrrr Mette

We took Spencer into the eye doctor this past week and they were very concerned about his lazy eye. It's more then a lazy eye it is struggling to maintain proper site.  It is very crucial to patch  eye everyday for 3 hours to help strengthen the weak eye. We decided to make it a little fun and pretend to be pirates. He is the cutest pirate I've ever known.

Spencer's Bated Birthday Party

Last April we moved to Idaho Falls the same month my middles have their birthdays. Trevors is April 18 and Spencers is April 30th. I knew it was gonna be tricky his year to make their birthdays as normal as possible so Months before I had gathered all supplies and decorations knowing how crazy it would be trying to move and settling in.  So the month of April passed and we still had our traditional Birthday Donuts and treats at school. Since Spencer hadn't started school yet I wasn't able to send birthday treats to school w him:(

I also got caught up in trying to do Trevor's birthday party that Spencer's got put off a lot later then I had expected or wanted. But that's ok, I promised him we would have a summer party for him and make it real fun. So today I paid off that debt and threw Spencer one awesome Belated Birthday Bash. Super Mario Brothers Style, with even a princess!!!!! Happy Birthday my handsome 5 year old Mario, fire cheese balls and all :)

Together the middles played Mario and Luigi. Spencer was Mario. His little girly friend came dressed up as a princess which was very fitting :)

Save the Princess, good job Luigi
Time to smash and blast away those nasty Mushroom heads and Piranha Eating plants with those Fire Cheese Balls. Don't turn your back on the ghosts, they'll get'cha.

Time for cake!!!!!!

Hmmmmmm what to wish for........

Best friends, Best brothers

Mommy Night Out

The month of January was month to take each boy on a Mommy Date. This week it was Spencer's turn. We both wanted to go to Comma Coffee. Its a really nice comfy Cafe/lounge. We got some Hot Chocolate and played Carebear Checkers. We also drew a picture together. It was a lot of fun. I love having the chance to spend one-on-one time with each of my babies. Spencer is such a loveable, silly, giggly kid. He really teaches me to let loose and enjoy each and every moment of life. hes a ray of sunshine and giggles. We both absolutely LOVED the carbear checkers game. We were able to have this little corner in the cafe all to ourselves. A nice comfy couch to sit and talk on and read books and a little table where we could play games and draw. It was a picture perfect night.
I love you Spencer :)

Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam

Today was my first Day of Sunbeams. I was not to excited about this change. I love my nursery leaders and I love playing at church. Mommy kept snapping pictures of my big day, yet I was not at all amused. I kept asking Mommy if she was gonna stay close by me and not leave. Mommy promised she wouldnt leave until I was comfotable. I guess its tradition for Mommy to get each kid a set of mini scriptures for primary. I was pretty excited about mine. I even got a neat little bag to carry them in. I found it very useful to hide behind my scriptures when Mommy tried to take pictures. I dont like change to much as you can tell. Today was a day full of change so I was very anxious and nervous. I had to wear a white collared shirt with a Tie and dress pants too. Once again Mommy kept telling me its the proper way to dress for primary so I wore it, but didnt like it one bit.

Towards the end of lunch I had a glimmer of hope that all would be well. My brothers kept telling me how fun primary was and that they will be there to make me feel safe. That made me feel good and made me smile.

Tyler and Trevor taking me to primary. I love my big brothers.

Once I got into class I became a little hesitant again. I sat with my two friends Ethan and Lucas and Mommy gave me my blanky to help calm my nerves. It did help a little and made me feel safe. I just kept really quite and to myself. We had to stand in front of all the primary kids while all they sang a welcome song to us, that was kind of embarrassing. Like I said when it comes to change I get kinda shy when the spotlight is on me.

All in all I had a pretty good day. Mommy and Daddy left half way through the class and I did great. I was brave and strong and never cried for Mommy. I was a very good boy in class and was reverent.
